The fast pace kept me hooked, page after page, but I'm left with that delightful ache for more – the kind you get when a story ends too soon and leaves you craving answers.

The central relationship between Royal and Lucas Carter was incredibly compelling. Their dynamic was explosive, a perfect blend of fiery clashes and undeniable attraction. Royal’s spunky, no-filter personality was a refreshing contrast to Lucas's gruff exterior, and their chemistry was electric. I loved how their initial animosity slowly gave way to something deeper, something that felt both vulnerable and incredibly powerful. The author did a fantastic job of portraying the complexity of their connection; it wasn't just a simple romance, but a story of survival, trust, and finding solace in unexpected places.
